Liebherr has supplied the 250th MK 88 to Barneveldse Kraanverhuur (BKV). The Dutch crane contractor is a long-term customer of the construction machine manufacturer and already uses a large number of Liebherr machines for its wide range of work.
The handover of the landmark crane took place at Liebherr-Nederland B.V. during the introduction training. Two of the four brothers who own the company, Albert Deij and Daan Deij, came to the sales and service company in Amersfoort, Netherlands, with three crane drivers for the handover.
For Dutch crane contractor BKV in Barneveld, the MK 88 is its fifth mobile construction crane. The company has a workforce of almost 50 and its fleet already includes a total of 18 Liebherr machines.
The landmark crane has already completed its first few jobs. The Deij Brothers are in full agreement – the MK 88 has already proven itself, not least because of its reliability. Liebherr is the best possible partner in view of the challenging jobs taken on by the company. With a maximum radius of 45 metres and a maximum hook height of 30.20 metres, the mobile construction crane has a very compact, manoeuvrable design, making it ideal for jobs in densely built urban areas.
