World ATM Congress 2022 where aircrafts and drones fly together

IFEMA MADRID welcomes the 2022 World ATM Congress from 21st to 23rd of June and is again hosting the Expodrónica Pavilion at the conference, Expodrónica is the only specifically devoted space focused on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)

he ninth edition of World ATM Congress; which accommodates the Expodrónica Pavillion, sponsored by UMILES Group; is opening on the 21st of June at IFEMA MADRID in a meeting that is expected to bring together more than 180 exhibitors and 200 sessions and presentations by professionals involved in the development and management of unmanned aerial systems. It is the premier international event about air and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) traffic management (ATM/UTM) and accommodates a broad representation of the aviation and drone industry and important institutional participation, civil and military.

World ATM Congress 2022 is offering the greatest chance for all parties to be involved in the construction of the future sky, where coexistence of traditional aviation and UAS systems is already a reality.

World ATM Congress is the result of the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) partnership with the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA). In its ninth edition, World ATM Congress offers three days of unparalleled insight into key issues in the ATM industry, complete with access to the aviation sector, including AAM/UAM, drones, commercial space, AI/ML, cloud computing and autonomous systems, and the largest European for Aviation stand to date, featuring with the most relevant organisations of European traffic management and regulation.

Among the main novelties of this edition is the Expodrónica Pavillion, exclusively dedicated to Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). The AAM Pavillion is showing the latest advances of this new concept of aerial transport, which utilises electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) in inaccessible environments for current aviation systems, or areas with access difficulties for surface transport, such as urban zones of high density or remote geographical areas. This space devoted to AAM accommodates the latest technological advances for the development of aircraft and vertiports, and the necessary infrastructures for the effective deployment of this new mobility area.

The event is taking place from 21 to 23 June 2022 at IFEMA MADRID. It is counting on an exhibition hall that gathers leading companies in the aviation sector, including UAS and AAM, and nine Education Theaters that discuss the future challenges with esteemed international experts.
