The new HS | Stationary Range, now with Emission Compliant Engines

The new HS | Stationary Range, now with Emission Compliant Engines

The new HS | Stationary Range presented a few months ago and which power range extends from 10 to 50 kVA, now incorporates new models of generator sets with emission compliant engines.

HIMOINSA, in its constant commitment to developing environmentally sustainable equipment, has incorporated into its HS | Stationary Range generator sets with emission compliant engines, even exceeding the requirements set by the current 97/68/EC regulations on emissions, which does not require or apply to fixed, non-mobile equipment.

In this way, The HIMOINSA Stationary Range offers a variety of models from 10 to 50 Kva with both emission and non-emission engines so the user can select the option that best suits his project. All this in a context in which the awareness of environmental care leads us to go for sustainable equipment even when the regulations do not require it, as in the case of fixed or stationary application.

The new 50 and 60Hz models incorporate Yanmar Stage 3A and Tier IV engines, even offering Stage V certification for the lower power models, from 10 to 20 kVA.

Quick connections, easy to install and maintain.

The HS Stationary range offers a versatile, modular design that ensures easy installation, with fast connections. Its version with integrated ATS in the control panel simplifies connection to the mains, without the need for an external panel in any other area of the room. An external switching version is also available.

This new genset concept removes unnecessary components for an emergency application from the equation, while keeping the HIMOINSA quality standard by selecting top quality brands for all components and accessories. This makes it one of the most competitive generators on the market.

HS Stationary Range Description

HIMOINSA presents the new HS Stationary Range which has a modular and versatile design that incorporates all the features required to make it one of the most competitive products on the market for stationary applications. This is one of the new product developments that the company is working on in its constant project of innovation and continuous improvement.

The HS range are generator set, from 10 to 50 kVA, at 50Hz and 60Hz. Three different canopy sizes are available to house the different models depending on their power.

The new design has pursued a clear objective; to develop a product adapted to the real needs of stationary applications while fully maintaining the product quality for which HIMOINSA is renowned. To achieve this, the decision was taken to eliminate from the design any component that is not required for an emergency application, and top quality brands were selected for all components and accessories, in line with the HIMOINSA quality standard.

The HS range is powered by Yanmar engines which are designed by Yanmar exclusively for the HIMOINSA stationary range. As well as other quality components, HIMOINSA has chosen to incorporate Stamford and Meccalte alternators, offering total operational reliability in emergency situations.

Their canopies guarantee high levels of anticorrosion and anti-oxidation, thereby maintaining their best-in-class position in the market.

These generator sets have been equipped to guarantee a fast and reliable response in, for example, the industrial, commercial and residential sectors, where electrical continuity in the event of any grid outage is essential.

EASY TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN

The HS Range has been designed to guarantee a user-friendly installation of the generator set. That is why it incorporates anchorage points for the installation of standardised lifting rings. It also features an extraction kit that facilitates the handling of the genset during checks, maintenance work, or the installation of the different fuel tanks without the need for a bridge crane. The lifting and extraction kits are optional, as are the lifting skids for forklifts.

The new design includes fully removable doors to provide full access to the interior of the machine to carry out maintenance and to clean the internal components; at the same time, this makes it possible to reduce the space required during the installation process when the generator set is located inside a room and/or a building.

FUNCTIONALITY: QUICK CONNECTIONS

HS generator sets incorporate two distribution cable entries that provide easy connection and operation; a lower front entry that reduces the genset’s footprint and an alternative lower side entry to facilitate connections in accordance with the specifications and conditions of each installation. Both include a protective aluminium cover to prevent the entry of elements from the outside.

One version comes with a built-in ATS in the control panel which makes it easier to connect to the grid without the need to have an external ATS panel somewhere else in the room. Another version for external switching is also available with different control panel and power configurations depending on the needs of the installation.

MODULARITY | SCALABLE RUNNING TIME

This modular and versatile design incorporates different metal fuel tanks with varying capacities and running times. Customers can choose which fuel tank best suits their needs, and they can also upgrade it when the project requires it. To this end, we have put a lot of work into a design that guarantees a simple, fast and reliable installation.

SOUNDPROOFING

The canopy features self-extinguishing polyurethane foam and high-density rock wool. We have also worked hard to optimize the location and layout of the air intakes, thus mitigating the sound emissions and preventing water from entering the machine.

The HS range proposes a new silencer design which ensures comfortable sound emission levels in industrial environments and offers the possibility of installing a sound attenuation kit, depending on the project’s requirements.

The tremendous engineering work that all this has entailed has allowed us to launch a generator set on the market that perfectly combines top quality components and a canopy that is 100% adapted to stationary applications, where the genset’s guaranteed response, its versatility and its easy installation prevails.
