iLOQ invests more than ever into critical infrastructure

iLOQ invests more than ever into critical infrastructure

Digital locking company – iLOQ – is further strengthening its focus on the critical infrastructure business with an emphasis on global telecom operators, towercos and energy providers.

iLOQ already has a strong and sustainable portfolio of solutions that are flexible, scalable, cost-efficient and easy to use. They offer completely new opportunities for the secure and effective management of access rights for multiple utility sites. And, in a recently signed a long-term framework agreement, iLOQ became one of the favored priority suppliers of access control solutions for Cellnex Telecom’s network of 61,000 telecom masts and datacenters throughout Europe. You can read more about the agreement here. The deployments, that started already in Q2 of 2020, are gathering speed.

Critical infrastructure and utilities business is no longer confined to individual regions or even countries. It is vital to look at the market on a global scale. By establishing a dedicated Global Key Accounts TELECOM team, iLOQ is now investing in gaining more knowledge, capabilities, and competence in the field, and developing smarter integration across all functions.

The new division will better serve the market globally by supporting both local and export sales activities and developing ‘critical infrastructure practice’ in relation to product management, technical support, administration, operations and marketing.

Heading up iLOQ’s Global Key Accounts TELECOM team, Joaquim Serrahima states:

“The telecom sector is rapidly converging to a few large players that act on an global scale. Our focus for those customers must be providing a universal offering of comprehensive solutions that help reduce total cost of operations in relation to access management in all their subsidiaries, worldwide.”
