Exhibit space for GIS 2023, to be held October 5-7 in Piacenza, Italy, is already fully sold out, but there are still opportunities for sponsorship and free visitor passes to Europe’s largest specialist trade show, run to the lifting, industrial and port handling and heavy transport industries.

The countdown has already begun for GIS 2023, the largest exhibition in Europe dedicated to lifting, industrial and port handling and heavy transport.

This, the ninth edition of the show, will take place from October 5 to 7 at the Piacenza Expo exhibition center in northern Italy (50 km south of Milan), and is set to be the largest ever made so far and to attract a much larger international audience.

In an impressive 62,000 m2 space, more than 400 specialist equipment, component and service exhibitors will showcase their latest innovations, including several highly anticipated global product launches.

Since its first edition in 2009, the GIS has earned a growing reputation as the most important meeting place in Europe for users of cranes, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklifts, heavy-duty vehicles and other industrial handling equipment. .

This year, more than 13,000 visitors from around the world are expected to use the event to discover the latest technologies, compare products and services, and network.

“GIS has proven to be a highly successful format for many reasons,” commented Fabio Potestà, director of Mediapoint & Exhibitions, the company responsible for organizing the event.

“GIS is highly specialized, lasts just three days, and exhibit costs are lower than many other events, ensuring exhibitors get an excellent return on their investment. And who would not like to go to Italy to attend an exhibition? We have some of the most majestic settings, our famous traditional cuisine and the best hospitality in the world”.

The GIS will offer a warm welcome in the best Italian style on Friday, October 6 with GIS by Night, a night of music and food in which exhibitors will be able to socialize with their most important clients and enrich their network of contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.

Exhibit space for the GIS is already completely sold out, but companies still have the opportunity to have their name featured alongside major industry companies by sponsoring the GIS by Night event or one of three award ceremonies: the Italian Award Terminal and Logistic Awards (ITALA), the Italian Access Platform Awards (ITALPLATFORM) and the Italian Lifting & Transportation Awards (ILTA).

Additional information about GIS 2023, including details of the program of seminars and hands-on workshops, will be released in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Fabio Potestà thanks exhibitors and visitors alike for their excellent support, and in October he looks forward to welcoming participants from all over the world to these three days of innovation in Piacenza, where they will also have the opportunity to network and enjoy the cordial Italian hospitality.
