Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure 2018 Conference is a global gathering of leading executives in the world of infrastructure design, construction, and operations. At the press conference held today, different Strategic Partners, such as Microsoft, Siemens, Topcon and ATOS, have presented their launches and agreements with Bentley Systems.
During today’s press conference at Year in Infrastructure 2018, the first to speak was Greg Bentley, CEO of Bentley Systems, who announced the forthcoming availability of iTwin Services, digital twin cloud services for infrastructure projects and assets.
On the other hand, Keith Bentley, EVP/CTO of Bentley Systems, has announced the initial release of its iModel.js library, an open-source initiative to improve the accessibility, for both visualization and analytical visibility, of infrastructure digital twins.
Also, Bhurpinder Singh, Chief Product Officer of Bentley Systems, explained MicroStation, the Modeling, Documentation, and Visualization Software. With MicroStation, you can easily view, model, document, and visualize projects of any size or complexity.
Microsoft, on the other hand, presented at Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure 2018 Conference the general availability of integration between ProjectWise 365 Services and Microsoft 365.
PlantSight, digital solution between Siemens and Bentley Systems, enables as-operated and up-to-date digital twins which synchronize with both physical reality and engineering data, creating a holistic digital context for consistently understood digital components across disparate data sources, for any operating plant.
Likewise, Siemens and Bentley Systems shown a a joint technology and service solution to speed up the digitalization of power plants and provide intelligent analytics with a range of innovative offerings and managed services solutions.
New developments in the constructioneering workflow initiative have been presented by Topcon at Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure 2018 Conference. It should be noted that this year the Constructioneering Academy initiative of Topcon and the Bentley Institute celebrates its first year.
Finally, ATOS and Bentley Systems today announced a strategic partnership through which they will offer a complete solution to create and operate Digital Twins on behalf of industry and infrastructure asset owners.
